A major healthcare logistics company engaged Data Sentinel to assist in the implementation of data governance, data privacy, and data quality programs within the organization.
Our scalable data audit program was implemented in the client's environment to persistently track, trace, and monitor PII (Personal Identifiable Information) and PHI (Personal Health Information) in support of related privacy law and HIPAA compliance (Health Insurance and Portability Accountability Act).
We then leveraged our specialized data quality solution to discover anomalies across all data source systems. Utilizing the results and critical insights to design a remediation program to solve the data quality issues in support of the modernization of their environment, and their migration to Snowflake.
The final phase of this engagement included integrating our active data governance framework. Our approach incorporated automating the inventory and classification of their data, enhancing their existing governance technologies and processes to establish greater control and data trust moving forward.
